We live in a world where everyone is busy with their own lives. Figuring out life - what to do the next day for hang out with friends? Who to date/marry? What career to pursue? How to take care of the kids? Even small things as what am I going to eat today? We become so engrossed with ourselves that we tend not see what is happening around us. We tend to silence or ignore news coverage of issues around the world, for we feel like it has nothing to do with us. However, as followers of Christ we need take in what is happening in this world and take heart and reflect on them.

I hope this walk to looking over current events helps you with developing a heart for the world, and to be able to know how to pray for this world. Perhaps even being stirred to take further action? My prayer to you is for your heart to become stirred and see it through the eyes of Jesus.
